Crispy oven-baked or air-fried wings tossed in Smoke Eaters’ Mango Habanero sauce strike the perfect balance of tropical sweetness and fiery kick. The juicy ripeness of mango fuses with dried habanero heat, clinging to golden-brown wings with every bite. Finished with fresh green onion and lime, these wings are ideal for game day, weeknight indulgence, or any moment craving sweet heat.

Ingredients
For the Wings
- 1.5 lbs chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
- 1 tbsp baking powder (helps crispiness)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp neutral oil (e.g., canola or avocado)
- For the sauce & garnish:
For the Sauce & Garnish
-
1/2 cup Smoke Eaters Mango Habanero sauce
- 2 tbsp honey (optional, for extra glaze)
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- Chopped cilantro (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (or set air fryer to 390°F).
- Dry the wings thoroughly with paper towels. In a bowl, toss wings with baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and oil until evenly coated.
- Bake on a wire rack over a lined baking sheet for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through — or air fry for 20–25 minutes, shaking halfway.
- In a saucepan over low heat, warm Mango Habanero sauce with honey (if using) just until slightly thickened.
- Toss hot wings in the warmed sauce until fully coated. Let them sit 2–3 minutes to absorb flavor.
- Garnish with green onion, cilantro (optional), and a squeeze of fresh lime.
- Serve immediately with napkins, ranch or bleu cheese, and extra sauce for dipping.
